[English]

The present study aims to develop a comprehensive model of financial literacy and examine its role in the behavior and financial well-being of participants in Iran’s capital market. Given the unprecedented growth of public participation in the capital market in recent years and the consequences of market fluctuations and instability, achieving a deeper understanding of the mechanisms influencing financial literacy in guiding financial decisions and behaviors has become increasingly necessary. This research, in terms of purpose, is applied and, in terms of method, descriptive-analytical. In the first step, using the meta-synthesis approach, the key components influencing financial literacy among capital market participants were identified, including:)1.Education, skills, and personal development,2.Social, psychological, and cultural factors,3.Environment, demographics, and economic conditions,4.Laws, regulations, and government policies,5.Access to informational resources). These components formed the basis for designing a questionnaire to assess financial literacy. To measure financial behavior and well-being, a researcher-designed questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale was used. The questionnaires were distributed among 384 capital market experts both electronically and manually. Instrument reliability was confirmed by a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient greater than 0.70, and its validity was verified through content and construct validity. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via Smart-PLS software. The findings indicated that all five components had a positive and significant impact on investors’ financial behavior and well-being. The results emphasize the multidimensional nature of financial literacy and the complex interaction among individual, social, economic, and institutional factors in shaping it.
